- To assess and compare nutrition practices (foods served, feeding practices), childcare-level written policies, and barriers of Nebraska (NE) childcare programs by geographic region (i.e., rural versus urban), federal funding (Child and Adult Care Food Program-funded versus non-funded) and childcare program type (family childcare homes versus childcare centers)
- To determine the effects of a responsive feeding intervention on: (a) improving childcare providers feeding attitudes, knowledge, and practices, (b) altering environmental contexts (e.g., food served and resources), and (c) enhancing cross-system integration (e.g., communication with parents and center level written policies)
- To determine the effects of a responsive feeding intervention on childrens (a) knowledge (b) eating behaviors and (c) dietary intakes
